Police arrest 43-year-old ex-convict for alleged sodomy



A 43 -year-old man alleged to be an ex -convict , Maiwada Ibrahim , of Lambun Danlawae quarters , Katsina State, has been arrested for allegedly engaging in anal sex with two 15 -year-old boys.

It was gathered that one of the boys told his mother how he was sodomised by the suspect , who in turn informed the father. The father was said to have reported the incident at the Central Police Station , Katsina State.

Police sources told our correspondent that Ibrahim was picked up on September 11 , 2017 , for the alleged crime .

PUNCH Metro gathered that Ibrahim had invited the two boys to his house , where they all watched pornographic film..

“ Having aroused the victims, the suspect had sex with them through the anus . He gave them N200 each after the act.

“ One of the boys, who was uncomfortable, informed his mother who reported the incident to his father , who then lodged a complaint at the police station, ” one of the sources said.

Spokesman for the Katsina State Police Command , DSP Gambo Isah, confirmed the development , adding that Ibrahim was once convicted for a similar offence .

Isah said, “ Ibrahim had been convicted for a similar offence in the past . The mother of one of the victims reported the incident to his father after the victim told her . The father reported the incident at the Central Police Station . Ibrahim will be arraigned after our investigation . “

The police spokesman also stated that a 30 -year-old man, Shamsu Mohammed of Barhien Estate in Katsina , would soon be arraigned in court for having anal sex with an underage boy.
Isah said the victim ’ s mother , Ayisat Aliyu , reported the incident to the police..

He said the victim’ s anus was badly torn during the sexual encounter, adding that the mother had been taking the victim to various hospitals for treatment in the past one and half years.
Isah said , “ The victim ’ s anus was torn during the sexual encounter. Shamsu will be charged to court anytime from now. ”
