Guilt-tripping on all the Diwali indulgence? Not to worry, as Deepika shares her 10 commandments on beauty, style and more.

1. Don't obsess over body weight, but keep body fat in check. Diet is about eating right and not starving." Find out what food works for your body type. Deepika says, “Ask any of my co-stars; they’ll tell you they’ve never seen a girl eat as much as I do!”

2. No matter your schedule, it's always fitness first! Her inspiration is her mother. “She’s in her fifties and her fitness levels are still amazing, as a result of which she can achieve anything she puts her mind to.”

3. Indulge in sleep, rest and lots of spa sessions! “I believe that makes a huge difference—keeping negativity away from your life. It’s a bit spiritual but it’s true!”

4. Don't overdo makeup. Remember, less is more.

5. Don't be swayed by trends. Be "comfortable, confident and secure in your own skin."

6. Never sleep with makeup on. "No matter how tired I am or how hectic my day has been, I always make it a point to take it off.”

7. Prioritise skincare. Lots of water, sunscreen and night cream are musts!

8. Keep the brow bold and beautiful. "I believe the thicker the brows the younger you look.”

9. Don't be afraid to take fashion risks. Confidence is the only key.

10. Don't be afraid to make heads turn. “When it comes to an evening or night look, I would opt for bold statement lips and pair it with luminescent skin and highlighted cheekbones. I would finish the look with dollops of mascara to enhance the eyes. My hairstyle would mostly depend on the outfit I am wearing,” Dippy signs off.
