Our Super Falcons have lifted the African Cup Of Nation for the ninth time. This was following a tensed game in the final against South Africa which ended in penalties.

The Super Falcons first played out a goalless draw against Banyana Banyana, Asisat Oshoala sadly missing a penalty in the second half.

However, during the shoot-out, South Africa star Linda Motlhalo missed her penalty kick, which saw Chinaza Love Uchendu convert hers to see Nigeria successfully defend our title.
